Hello! I am very happy to be part of the Bay Park team! My childhood dreams of helping animals became reality upon acceptance to Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. A south Floridian at heart, the frigid northeastern weather was almost as challenging as the rigorous academic schedule faced at vet school! After vet school, defrosting in San Diego seemed like a good idea. I then began an intense one-year internship at the Mission Valley Emergency and Referral Center. In all honesty, that year as an intern is one that I would not repeat but I am forever grateful for the experience. I saw a large volume of challenging emergency, internal medicine, and surgery cases and received training from specialists. From there, I worked at a busy, multi-doctor practice in El Cajon for a year. I decided to leave this practice and find a place closer to home.
I have really enjoyed the personal atmosphere here at Bay Park. The staff treats each and every animal as if they were their own. As for myself, I am very personable and easy to talk to. My special interests include pain management for both acute and chronic diseases and diagnostic imaging such as radiology and utlrasound. I am a firm believer in preventative medicine and catching things early on yearly health exams. I look forward to seeing you at your next appointment.
